Installing Keycaps
Installing keycaps is an easy procedure that will take about 10 minutes. Logic Keyboard keycaps come with a Key Cap Puller tool to remove your existing keys, and a keyboard layout printout, so you know exactly where to put your new keys.
How to build your own keyboard using key caps and your existing Apple Pro keyboard:
Once the tool is has locked onto the old key, simply pull up. Key cap safely comes off. Then place the new key into position, and push down. It will snap into place. Repeat for all the keys.
COMPATIBILITY NOTE
Logic Keyboard keycaps will only fit onto select Apple keyboards. These are the white keyboards that came with G5 Towers, MacPro Towers, iMac G5 or iMac Intel computers. They will also fit onto Apple Bluetooth Wireless keyboards. They will not fit onto Apple white keyboards that feature the USB ports on the right and left side of the keyboard. Just to make things more confusing, they will only fit onto the keyboards that were Made in Malaysia. To see if your keyboard was Made in Malaysia, see the note below.
